Miriam Diephouse-McMillan, Counseling Intern

Miriam works with clients age 16+. She provides services in-person. Her modalities include: Person-Centered, DBT, and Mindfulness. She is supervised by Caitlin Archibald, LPC (NJ 37PC00606500)

Miriam is a third-year master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the College of William & Mary.  She has an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and 14 years of experience in inpatient mental health chaplaincy.  She completed comprehensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and specializes in working with emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and religious trauma.

Miriam brings an open-minded perspective and deep listening ear to help clarify your goals, alongside a toolbox of practical skills to help you achieve the life you want.  She offers a balance of person-centered, DBT, and Mindfulness strategies to support you through the struggles of daily life in a way that reflects your values.  Miriam is passionate about the deeper questions of meaning, hope, and connection that keep us going through difficult seasons.
